Agreed. A subspecies breed for color. Thankfully not as ugly as regular carp.

Yeah now that I think about it my uncles best friends, mothers, neice lost both her legs to a giant snapper when she was swimming in her pond! :joke: I like your movie idea graphic dr you have quite the imagination. :laugh:
 
Phew...a snapper bite off my self esteam. I haven't recovered since.

Yes the emperor of China in the Xia dynasty during 2000 BC kept koi, but the disgruntled populace sent in ninjas with snapping turtles to ruin his koi pond (and I bet you thought ninja turtles were a fairly new idea).
