Building a fairly large cement pond DIY (+pics soon)

Great looking pond, unusual.
You wouldnt be able to get koi in as its not deep enough. What fish are you planning and do you have anywhere for them to hide in case of predators?

Heres an update for ya all

First off i have had a few problems, the paint job got wet prematurely so it got a few bubbles at the bottom. Its been raining at all the wrong times, so i will have to clean all the lowest parts of the pond to get rid of the bubbles. Secondly i want to get a good pump and filter setup which will cost a fair bit so i gotta save up a bit to get the stuff......I have also been very busy :coffee: so i dont have much time on it so as soon as i get all that crap sorted i will post some pics ov it runnin. Hopefully it will be soon :thm:

Ok so its been a while but hey i finally got the pond back on the road. I have filled it and fish are in and doing great. I have a problem keeping it clear as it gets full sun all day so i decided to put a shade cloth over the top which will hopefully help keep it clear. As you can see from the pic its still green but it will get there. I still have cables running to the pond but they will be hidden soon. The fish in the pond are gold fish from my aquarium they have already started to get bigger since they were moved.

Yeah, put some kind of rocks around it to give it a broder.

So it looks more natrual and less man made.

Its still not finished yet still a fair bit of work to do but yeah i will look into putting flat rocks around the edge but not for the moment. Now i am focusing on getting clear and healthy water.
