Buying a new tank?

Not sure what you mean by setting one drain over the other but with a box that size, you should look into the "herbie" or "beananimal" drain designs. Based on teh dimensions of that box, you should be able to do either with no problem and both are incredibly quiet and safe.

The Line-Loc and bulkheads for the return showed up. The drill bits for both and bulkheads for the drain show up tomorrow! i will also get the rodi filter tomorrow installing under the sink and also the hole house filter will be installed tomorrow aswell.

Looking good! Fill'er up!

The Bulkhead for the drains are drilled my wife held the rodi line while i was drilling that was the easiest thing i could think of to cool the drill bit. It sure was scary drilling glass for the first time!!! I ordered the wrong bit for the returns so its on its way. I dumped the 80 gallons worth of salt i have in and its filling now. Prob wont fill past half way until the returns are drilled.

Nice work! Congrats on the successful drilling.

Are you putting an overflow box around the bulkheads?

The black lines around the bulkheads represent the interior dimensions of the overflow box i purchased. Unfortunately it took the guy a week to ship the box from when i purchased it so i wont see it until july 3rd it looks like. going to need to go buy ALOT of salt today lol!

Um, I just realized you mentioned not drilling the return holes yet. Are you going to do that vertically?

The returns will be bulkheads aswell. i ordered the wrong size bit thanks to the guy listed the hole size wrong... I left the tank far enough out so it i can get a drill behind it.. Im only going to fill the tank to half way for now. i seen many many videos on youtube with people drilling half full an no problems. Drill from the back and put puddy on the inside nothing goes in the water...
