Buying a new tank?

So i read the directions again they are a very bad english translation its sort of funny! It lists everyhthing in Centimeters so i converted it and aparently bulkreefsuppy has the hight for water listed wrong.. they have like 9.5 to 11 so i placed it with water height was 10.25 if you convert the centimeters listed on the directions that came with it the max height is 10.25. i cut four 2" spacers from pvc and placed them under the skimmer yesterday around 4 wolk up this morning and the skimmer has about 3/4 of a inch of nasty brown water. and the bubbles at the top are starting to get thick and nasty looking..

That's more like it. Good to hear you got it figured out.

So i emptyed the skimmer and wow talk about enough to make you throw up.. the stench was horible...

On another note i lost a ballist for the CF lights anyone have any experiance finding replacements it needs to run 2x65w bulbs one side stays light the other side flickers and flickers until the bulb burns out...

Ordered workhorse 5 ballast... i ordered 2 just going to replace them both while i am at it only one is bad but matter of time before the other cheap china ballast goes out...

I am just going to post all my pics to shutterfly as its to hard to upload them all check the link below for the newest ones.

Any idea what the worm like things are? they seem to come out when ever food is present? Also not sure what the the swirley thing is on the purple corral rock its definitly alive aswell..

Nice pics. Is that a torch or a bubble tip nem? Easy within the stocking. Tank is still very young.

That's as far as im going with stocking im pretty much tapped out on this project.. I think its a torch nem. Most of the snales and hermits and the tange was purchased to take care of a huge alge problem that came from no where...

got the new fulham workhorse 5 ballast installed last night and the light output has got to be 30% brighter over old ballasts and all 4 cl lights are firing just fine so it deffinitly was a ballast problem.

i need a recommendation on a bump for a auto top off. I need to pump water from the basement to the 1st floor the hose will be about 25' long.
