I don't think he did anything wrong. Heck, turn it on ANY talk show host, and you'll see that at one point or another they'll all trash the current president, whoever he is.
He did make the audience clap in support for all the troops that are helping out.
People should learn to take things less offensively... it wasn't meant to offend anyone, it was meant to make you laugh.
Now what was Beyonce doind trying to sing a french song? That, I don't know. Even though she has a beautiful voice, you couldn't understand anything coming out of her mouth (for anyone who speaks french)... As much as I don't like saying it, get Celine Dion or something...

I hear ya Cheech, although not Celine, how about any one of the scores of talented French singers?! How about one of the many extremely talented opera-trained singers for the duet?! I think that the "Beyonce theme night" was what bugged me about the Oscars.
Yeah, that would have been a good idea.. For sure.. I still don't understand why, with all the performers there are out there, she sang three songs.. .
I don't know french, but I liked her french performance... I guess it's a case of "ignorance is bliss".
