ok i didnt see someone talk about it.... but.... just because they over paid for their stuff doesnt mean you want to over pay for it used. around me there are a lot of good deals but still some crazy tanks as well. they just put some crazy price on it and hope for the best.

If the guy couldn't even be arsed to feed whatever was in that 10 gallon (uncycled, no doubt) tank, it probably didn't take but a month for things to go downhill. He's probably trying make back what he spent on the oscars and goldfish.

If it's a year old or UNDER - $2.00 - $3.00 per gallon.

I don't think it should be even $2-$3 when you can get a brand, spanking new aquarium for $1 a gallon on sale. It blows the mind to pay more for a used aquarium than you would for a new one.

I even go as far as to e-mail it to people asking crazy amounts for used tank^_^ ..gotten some nasty e-mails back from that its amusing

Its amazing how sellers put their prices so high and at the same time buyers will make ridiculous low offers. Either no one takes the time to consider a fair price or everyone is greedy.

Everyone is greedy. Today, I saw a 10 gallon aquarium (no accessories) used at a thrift store priced at $20. I bought a 20 gallon w/ some accessories for $28 at this same store 3 months ago. WTF?
