Update.
I got the deworming flakes 2 weeks ago. Fed them 2 days in a row as directed.
So far the skinniest loach is doing well. Seems to be gaining weight, may take a while til he is back up to normal. But as of now I am convinced the problem is solved. And most of the other loaches seem to have gotten fat.
