Glad to share! I've read that the drop in temp in the winter from growing them on a windowsill indoors will give it enough of a break to over-winter. Haven't seen any specific guidelines, but I would guess an overall temp in the high 60's - low 70's would probably do.Thanks for the info J, good to know. I get a slight drop in temp and humidity in my paludariums during the winter anyway, I wonder if that would be enough. I might have to give it a shot in the next tank. Would be a great way to control the extra fruit flies that the fish don't get to, when they make it to shore.
Actually, I've been holding off on the pings simply because I got so fascinated with the sundews and neps. :grinyes: At some point, they'll definitely be there! I love the flowers on them.Australian Pitcher plant looks amazing. Could tell its small from the size comparison to the 3" pot. I got several small aloe veras in small 3" pots so not hard to get an idea how small it is.
I never knew there was so many varieties of CP's. I knew bout honeydews pitcher plants and Venus Fly Traps and you got those and many variations of them but one I wasnt aware of which I dont see in your collection is a butterwort. Barely seen this plant today. Check it out.
