Sounds awesome, Paul! I can't wait to see pics.
Here's a question for you guys. I keep toying with the idea of taking a cutting of my copelandii, but I'm hesitant because it's doing so well (2 basal shoots, one of which is already putting out a pitcher). I don't want to screw up and end up killing it. Any thoughts?
Ps... it was one of the first ones I got, and is about a year and a half old or more at this point.

The intermedias we have aren't the tropical variety, so they will need dormancy. It should do okay in a terrarium until that time comes. I do want to see the bog garden. There's nothing quite like a well arranged native setup.
I'd leave the copelandii alone. The upper pitchers are worth seeing. It's a relatively sensitive plant and doesn't like to be touched much. It looks like it should be producing uppers soon. They're beautiful little things.

Thanks for the advice... I think I'll do just that. I should be moving into my new house this week, so I'll be able to rearrange the rack and give it more room to stretch out!
Sounds good. I think you'll be satisfied with letting it grow more. It's definitely one of my favorite plants. The pitchers may be small and simple, but they're so elegant! I might get one myself.
Yeah, I really like the plant. How big to the upper pitchers get? The newest one on mine is almost 11".
And I can't wait to see the basals progress. That first little pitcher is really exciting to me.

That copelandii sounds gigantic! Ours is half that size in terms of pitchers. I'll let you know how big the uppers are when the first one opens.
The intermedias look happy. Definitely big enough for leaf pullings. The Sarracenia before the Akai Ryu looks like an alata. And the first unknown Sarr looks like an oreophila to me. Good to see that the new additions are growing.

Awesome pics, Paul. Can't help with any id's though. In fact, I have a Sar that I need you guys to help me identify. LOL... I got it from a local greenhouse and it has exploded. One of the newer leaves must be a foot tall.
