Well the parts are
1. Two 3/4 cpvc caps 56cents
2. One 3/4 cpvc tee 38cents
3. and some 3/4 cpvc pipe (under 1.00 for 10ft)
4. 1/4 drill bit or any size you want
5. (optional) I bought a double barb elbow in the sprinkler line section, 10 for 1.25 or somen.
didn't glue any of it. You can, just won't be able to adjust it so get it right. If you're worried about the size take the outtake with you to homedepot and try it in a tee. This spraybar fits on the H.O.T. outake. Whether or not it fits on anything else I'm not sure so don't go trying it. I will be making one for my eheim 2215s when they come in. I bought different pipe, elbows, everything for that.
Measure the pipes out to whatever size you want stick the tee on the output and capt the ends. done =). I could of stuck the Tee in the center and made both ends the same length but wanted to mess with the sizing. In the future I'll probably put the tee in the center to have equal pressure. I find this works better then a hookup at 1 end, whether or not it matters I'm not sure....
Anyhow I just laid it on some newspaper and sprayed it with kylon plastic black paint. I think it was actually outdoor plastic paint, but it doesn't matter. Spray let dry, turn spray let dry, touchup let dry. No sanding or anything even though I'm sure it would look good like that too. 1 coat.
Tips: wd40 will help you get the sticker residue off the elbows, caps, whatever you're using. Buy a 10ft stick and just ask them to cut it in pieces alot cheaper then buying quarter sticks or etc.
