The worms just add more protein. ;)
But seriously though....I can't count the number of fish that I've caught over the years and cleaned myself....worms aren't something I'd see very often.
thats the thing you cant see the worms 99% of the time .. once in a blue moon u will get a big juicy one sticking out ...lol..

there are worms in all the fish .. your Cod. Snapper, Sole and all those yummy kinds .. the ones in the snapper looke like little clear balls and you can see and somtimes feel them in the meat .. look closely at the fillet next time .. the ones in the Cod are lil coily ones like described in the article that Chill posted .. that made me gag when i was reading that and bringing back memories .. it has been over 14 yrs since i worked in the Fish Plants and i can still remember it .. and i did exactly what Chill was describeing .. and most of the time the Plants just tell ya to pass em thru .. and pack em up ..
dont mean to gross ya out ..but that is why i dont eat Fish and Chips any more .. just the Chips .. :D

I dont eat fish. I don't eat any aquatic lifeforms. I stopped about 1986. The waterways of the world are dying at an excellerated rate. When the aquatic environment dies, humans die. Between pollution and over-fishing, It's impossible to return to the healthy waters of just a hundred years ago. At the least, I will not take part in the acceleration of the destruction of the Earth and humans. And to be frank, I despise all of you who tune out the warning signs and keep on happily stuffing your face. DO SOMETHING! Don't be so selfish, living in your own little myopic world won't save your grandchildren from the resource wars, the pollution, the starvation, the disease, the economic disasters, the natural disasters & the chaos. Educate yourself.

Don't sweat it reziztor, Captain Tripps is on the way (maybe bird flu will mean the salvation of the earth...).

I'm not drinking the kool-aid...this place is in trouble! Me eating fish has much less to do with the declining environment than the current administration's environmental policy, write the white house.

This post reminds me of the "can an aquarist be a fisherman too" post. There was (last time I checked) no-one who posted that they would not fish because they kept fish as pets, but I would have been interested to see how a poll would be on that question too. Not much opposition here either (It's O.K. to eat fish 'cause they don't have any feelings - RIPKC).

I eat fish, fish, and keep fish as well.

Actually, you eating fish is a great detriment to the health of the Earth. And the world population, increasing every second and all of them eating something dependant on the aquatic world is far more horrendous to the long term health of mother nature then a few years of Bush. Read up.

I eat fish prolly 3-4 times a week canned tuna and salmon mostly, my father is an avid fisherman so ive also got an adequate source of fresh redfish, trout and drum. I also wouldnt mind having a large stocked pond to take care of and get dinner from.

I can eat cod or halibit, but could never cichlids fillets or cory bites.

I actually heard that people from South America eat cories, whole!!!

Cor Lover

lol, it's the other option that throws me off.
