Do you name your fish?

I name some of them, mostly the one's with the most personality

Killer - dwarf puffer
Severus - green severum
Twitchy - goldfish
Darth Betta - betta
Mr. Kitty, Mr. Whiskers - pictus cats
Squishy and McFishy - Neon Jewel Cichlids
Calliope - angelfish
Voldemort - rubber lip pleco
Sharky - rainbow shark

Yes, but we've not got too many.

The first betta is Sushi
The second is Saviche (no idea if I spelled that right, it's some sort of fish soup, my husband named him.)

We've got a 5 gallon set up for my 5 year old. She named the 5 guppies Rainbow, Black Beauty, Wave, Orangey and Petunia. The last two died quickly.

We had an ADF named Moonbeam and got another she named Roger. Roger promptly died and Moonbeam followed suit about a week later. I wonder if the second one wasn't ill. No more ADF for a long while.

I won't name any fish I put in the new tank I plan to set up. I am tending to agree, name them and they die!

My last Betta was named Redneck (courtesy of my 5yo son) - he was a bright red Betta
My last golden mystery snail was named Larry (courtesy of my 5yo son.... and yes, we got lots of Larry the Cable Guy and Redneck jokes! LOL)
My current gold mystery snail is named Larry 2 (thanks kiddo, LOL)
My current Betta is named Sunburst as he is a gorgeous yellow color with red spots/stripes in his fins

nope

no nameing fish is for girls, like i said for girls my mom named my bolivan ram "ram head" it doessn't make sense she thought he was ugly at first and now she thinks it her fish.

The ones that stand out for some reason get named. The female betta is J.C, the pushy male white cloud is named Barney after our fiesty chihuahua, and the two otos are Otto and Harriet.

only time i name a fish is if they really do something to derserve it like say something rather extordanary like jumping out of a tank to attack me or live throug something most fish should not have lived thru.

No, they're all called "Fishies" to my son!

My wife names a few, and I'm sure my son Jacob will be soon too! ;)
