Does anyone keep Cyrtocara Moorii with Mbuna?

ps. You have MTS dude.:evil_lol: This is my second tank, but I'm gutting the first to use it has a hospital tank for this bad boy.

Aye, Pittbull; I think Kop wanted to tell you that you have Multiple Tank Syndrome (MTS); but knowing how easily you trade fishes, I think you have also PTS... Pittbull's Trading Syndrome :evil_lol:. Be gran me mucker! (I hope I have learned irish correctly).

'owaya paddy, yep be gran me mucker, wow i need a Guinness..

hehehe yeah your right man i am sleepy aye, hehehe for some dumb reason i thought he said do i have mystery snails heheehe wow i need sleep..

oh yeah i do have PTS as well and is what i am going to be doing tomorrow i have fins to move out aye, hehehe later efors buddy..

Haha...snails? Watcha talkin about Willas?!

But yeah, as Efors said...meant Multiple Tank Syndrome.:evil_lol:

The Update:

Given uptrying to get that side peice in. I attached a very, very large rock to it. Very, very heavy....enough to flatten a small child...BUT it still floated. It doesn't get waterlogged either. It's like the ultimate screwjob.

Anyway....decided I'm going to put some egg crate up againt the side and grow Java Fern on there. Should look sweet.

I did the big 'turn on' today.

Turned on my external cannister filter (1200 L/H) and my Hood filter (900 L/H) which I am using for biological filtration only. Got it loaded up with Eheim Substrat Pro and Sera Siporax. Cannister filled with both bio and mechanical filtration media. First time I've used a cannister.

Heater is on and currently heating up the near freezing water. :silly:

Lights are on a timer. I'm eagerly awaiting the time it changes to myblue lagoon night light :perv:. Sad, but I love it.

Put my pump for the 'under Jet' system I built on a power clicker ie I can turn it on at a click of a button. It does 2000 L/H and is quite loud, so I'll keep that on when I'm not here, and turn it off when I don't want to be disturbed.

Gonna leave it all running for 24 hours and then start adding stuff for the cycle.

Nearly there...

Cool cant wait to see the photos buddy, hehehe yeah i was sleepy and i didn't realize what you were saying ( willas ) now thats funny..

Filter replaced by Tetra!

Got an entirely new unit with all media and parts.

Don't even have to send the other one back (kind of feel guilty about it though).

Switched over my cycling media and now we continue. No leaks in nearly 24 hours so it is look good (touch wood).

Not long to go now...yet my breeder had temp sold out of a few of my species. The Borleyi and Afra are gone, and the Moori are now only available in the larger size (6cm as opposed to 4cm - but since the Labs I'll be getting are 5cm, I'm sure they will be cool). He's got cheap Petricola in as well which is tempting. Zippy little things. Gonna go to a local shop first though and get a few fish there just to test out the situation because I'm paranoid. Will re-introduce them when I get the big load.

Argh, God.

I'm still thiinking about these Fronts.

I really want the Fronts, but I'd need something with them to zip in and out of the rocks.

The LFS (a knowledgable guy I've known for years since I used to visit his shop everyday after school) suggested Yellow Labs to me with Fronts, but surely that won't work? They'll be lively and aggressive with the Fronts...and then they will be eaten themselves. I wish I never met that fella and saw his Fronts. I honestly do.

You know what.

This is it...it is the Malawi mix we sorted out earlier.

End of discussion. End of debate. I've settled. It's like Sophie's choice.

So it is:

Yellow Labs
Rustys
Cyn Afra
Cyr Moorii
Borleyi
Synodontis Cat
