Does anyone keep Cyrtocara Moorii with Mbuna?

I would stick to your stock list, Kop! Very nice and colorful selection of fishes on it!

I'm ready Dudes.

Finished my cycle the other day,

Done a big water change.

PH is now stable at 7.5 (same as tap).

Ammonia 0

Nitrite 0

Adding some Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt today.

Just gonna get a few fish first and overfeed. Then get my complete stock in 1-2 weeks if all goes ok.

Finally done Dudes...can you believe it?

Cool don't forget to photo progress.. good job my friend..

First fish in!

A fish that my LFS shop has had in for nearly 3 months....with me agonising over not being able to get it. A Synodontis Cat. Got the full and interesting story about it as well with it being an adult. Apparently some woman brought it in because it was stuck in an ornament, then she said they could keep it. When he removed it another Synodontis came out as well - she didn't even know she had it. She reckons it was transported witht he ornament as it came from a used tank. Weird story, but nice to know about the fish. It has been recovering in the shop for approx. 3 months or so from it's ordeal - a little bit scratched but nothing too major. Has been in there with some big Malawis. I've seen it progress over the last few months and now it is looking happy in my tank. Lights are off now for a good couple of hours to let him settle in, then the LEDs are coming on. Main lights later.

Delighted with the fish and the info my LFS gave me. One to tell the grand kids...well maybe not eh.

Well, it survived the night hehe.

It has taken the largest centre cave as its own. It wades upside on the top of the cave. It was very lively when the 'blue lagoon' LEDs were on. So majestic in its movement.
