dont you get tired of looking at the same fish in your tank i do so sometimes i will give my old fish im tired of looking at to my friends and buy new ones only if they are cheap like platys but if i have an angelfish im keeping it cause it cost too much
i need help on designing my tank are there any masters well i got some fake plants and 2 pieces of driftwood should i put the fake plants all in one spot or spread em out and were shuld i put my driftwoods
You will have to experiment to see what you like best, and you will probably arrange things a few times before you get it the way you want, and it's kind of hard to give advice without seeing what you have, but why don't you start with putting the taller plants toward the back, small towards the front. Try to arrange the plants in small groups. This way, you can create hiding spots for your fish. Maybe you could use one of your driftwood pieces as a centerpiece, and arrange the plants around that. If you put all the plants in one spot, it won't look right. Try different arrangements, and have fun with it!
On topic, fish aren't rental items. They are living animals and you are expected to take care of them. You can just buy more, give them back, buy more etc. You sound like Jay223.....
the only time ive gotten rid of fish is when they fight, then i have no choice.you really shouldnt be getting fish if your just going to get rid of them like an old toy. how can you get tired of your pets?i have had my fish for years and the longer i have them it only makes me love them more, please dont treat living animals like objects that arent living breathing creatures.
I think thats going to happen when you obviously arent satisfied with your tank and up till now you havent strived to make it something you are proud of. It really needs a lot of time, effort and consideration to truly pay off. A bit of enthusiasm goes a long way. If you cant find that in you then youve to ask yourself if this hobby really is for you.
But dont worry! I think everyone gets disheartened when their tank isnt looking its best or you have seemingly incurable problems. Im trying to keep a planted tank going just now and there have been a few times when Ive felt like tearing it down and getting rid of the lot. Ive stuck with it, its gradually getting there and I couldnt be more excited now.
