Yes, the hoses were siphoning the water out towards the back of the yard, while the other one was re-filling. We emptied it out about 80% and then left it refill (was too dark to see anymore anyhow). We may do another w/c next weekend. For now we'll leave the filter running and see what happens. Still a little more work to do on the rocks - just minor things, but oveall I'm really pleased with how it turned out. We started our shed project this weekend too. Been working on that today. Always something!!

To be honest, if there was a market for it, I'd totally do that for a living. I like being outside and I'm OK with hard labor.

Oh and are you going to be building some sort of lid/cover for your filter?

and what sort of plants do you plan on having along the edges of the pond? I think you should have some Creeping Jenny alongside the waterfall

I think it's done!!

Just have to get the water clear, add the plants, and then intro the fish!
