Can't leave out the Melvins and Primus either (even though they aren't grunge..but close enough![]()

Discs you would most likely find in my CD player at any given time are by bands like Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, Phish, Medeski Martin and Wood, and Frank Zappa.
I'm also starting to appreciate some classical music and I've been getting into a lot of jazz.
Anything too "poppy" or simplistic tends to bore me. It seems that most of what we hear on the radio today is just mass produced crap designed to sound exactly like the song before it. I tend to appreciate musicians who don't fit neatly into any one genre of music. I'll give anything a fair listen if it's done with integrity and if the artists try to stretch the boundaries of music.

There are times when it's too much but then there are times when it's like an epiphany.
