Thanks. It still tries to float a little, using the tank itself to hold the wood down (just jammed it in a tiny bit) is that a bad thing (probably should have asked that sooner lol)

$80 in cash and $60 in check form, as well as 21.30 hours later I am ready to start buying fish! $70 for fish, $70 for my soon-to-be savings account! Now I just need to make a list and buy them fish!
Got 14 neon tetras (2 as collateral) they are acclimating now, and I have a video, just need to upload it...

I kniow right? I never thought I could find a piece that perfect, but it fits in the tank like a CD in a CD case! Only fear I have is that it may leach something into the water, as it came from the beach (literally, the ocean beach just inside a small bay) but that's why I'm going to take the tank extra slow.

So, that's where I am right now in the 40gal tank. May have lost some neons, but I couldn't find any bodies, so I'm hopeful that all 14 are in there. The mollies will be in there until A)They are eaten, or B)I take them to the LFS to get rid of them. They would have overloaded my 20gal, so I had to remove them. Hey, maybe some of the filters will take half of the buggers out? One can dream.... anyway, that's where I am right now.

My devious plan to wipe out the molly fry population worked! There are a few survivores, but those neons were brutal. They took out at least half og them, and now the Mothers are in their population will likely decrease again.

YEA! Managed to get all the fish I wanted in one fell swoop! Ha ha! 2 larger bolvarian rams, 6 small bronze corys, and a Bristlenose pleco. Will pick up mystery snails later, when I have money in my pocket again. I spent $153 and some change on fish for this tank, my 20 long, and for the begginiing of my 10gal tank restart. And so we go!

Oh, question for anyone willing to read my thread and answer, will Bolvarian Rams breed with other fish in a tank? The guy at my LFS said they wouldn't.
