Finally got that salt tank...

What a little jerk....
I tried to tweeze him out, only managed to rip his arms off.

Careful there. You are trying to capture, not propagate them.

Looking a little better today.

I'm going to try the nylon thing to get the stars out. I'll probably take them to the lfs. I really don't want to kill them

Well a couple quick updates-
First my finger leather is looking much better, it's definitely shedding and I hope for it to be back to normal in another day or two :)

Second, I made an addition today that I've been wanting to since I started my tank. I got a Green BTA from my lfs today after work. They were confident that it will be right at home in my tank, and said if for any reason it became too much for me they'd be happy to take it back. So far so good though, the little guy looks right at home and already seems to be inflating :):):)

Also I've decided to let the starfishes stay. The crab I saw being eaten was more than likely just a molted shell and it was just cleaning up. All is well!

Glad to here the leather is better. Nice addition. It will likely roam quite a bit until it finds a spot so keep an eye on it in relation to your corals.

I tried to place him where I thought he'd be happy. Higher in the rock work and near the output for flow. He hasn't moved, but when he deflated at night he fell back a little into a crevice. He is attached to some lr rubble from the lfs. In assuming he'll right and anchor himself. I dont like interfering unless necessary

Yes, the nem will take care of itself. Moving it around will do nothing but stress it. BTAs like to stick their foot in a hole in the rock. Hopefully it stays put but I think once it has acclimated itself to your water (it will inflate and defalte quite a bit early on), it will most likely go on a few strolls.

Just let it be and don't feed it for a week or two (or until you feel it is acclimated and comfortable).

It seemed to be inflating about an hr after the lights came on, but I had to go to work. He was drip acclimated for 40 minutes. If he does wander I can easily move my corals out of his path. They are on plugs that are wedged into spaces in the LR. I wanted to get the nem before I got too many corals that it became difficult to move them.

He's on the move! This morning he was wilted and anchored down in a crack. Now he's out and about. He ate mysis this morning :)
