Finally got that salt tank...

That just seems cruel :)! Very funny that they call it an "exercise mirror". Should call it a punching bag :)

People should just have more than one and keep them in neighboring tanks :)
 
Came down to check on the tank this morning and saw Penny, my female clown, swimming in the nem. She swam out when she saw me and promptly begged for food.

Maybe they will host without any interference from me :)
 
Well, they do host nems in the wild, so there is a chance they will host it by themselves in your tank. I just hope the nem doesn't suffer from it, I wouldn't want anything living in my face all the time :)

Tank raised clowns generally do not host, and iirc bubble tip anemones aren't their natural host.

It is a defensive mechanism they need for survival in the wild. In the aquarium they have no need for the defense mechanisms. Wild-caught clowns will have experience and instinct to drive them. Tank raised clowns may have never even seen an anemone in their lifetime.
