Macros in the display can be a pain sometimes. Not sure if an urchin will eat it or not but if anything did I would say those would be the guys that would.
I figured that it would be able to defend its self from the clowns if need be. My only concern is they are venomous, similar to bee stings, and I'm highly allergic to bees. It wouldn't stop me from getting one, just make me more careful.

I think my macro algae took off because there was a long time between w/cs because I was gone.

To add to what Greech said... generally the short-spinned types can't really poke you without your help anyways. I've stepped on Pincussion Urchins before and even then they don't break the skin (at least they don't if you take the hint and back off). They arn't really designed to stab you, just scare you off.

Yep, sure looks like it. Nuke 'em as soon as you can and keep an eye out for more.
 
What is the best way to remove them? I'm 90% sure the rocks they are on can be removed
