Finally re-starting my 72g bowfront!

NO Comments, not even suggestions. Makes me worry when I think about what mommies teach us "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all". Can I bribe you with crappy videos?? Not appealing huh, well you're getting them anyways! :raspberry: They are on photobucket so it is only links, sorry. Oh and excuse the sound, my mom was watching dark shadows and there was a thunderstorm so my dogs were scared and she was trying to console them. :D

Loaches and my forever small SAE (has been that size since I got him yrs ago)

I was able to see your pictures on the second page, looks AWESOME!!! Did you mention what your lighting is and everything else? like what you use for ferts, how much your dose?

Thank you!

Lights - 2 - 55 watt ahsupply kits (power compacts) about 23" above substrate level on for 6 hours a day
Ferts - currently trying PPS pro, substrate is Oil Dri (clay based)
CO2 - about 1 bps with inline reactor on for 6 hours a day

Looks great :)

Would look greaterer with some pygmy Cories though ;)

and thanks for reminding me that I've promised to plant a bunch of tanks next week for killifish and pencilfish to go into.

 Thanks, if I wasn't already stocked I WOULD have some habrosus in there!

Did you go to the meeting last night? We can talk about it here! :)

you could probably squeeze 6-10 habrosus in there without needing to shoehorn them in too much, with the plant mass, I don't think bioload will be too big of an issue, and something so small in something so big will hardly overcrowd the part of the water column they choose to swim in. I'd leave it up to you to determine if they'd become a snack for anyone though.

And yes.. I did go last night, it was a great meeting, a lot of fun and a good turnout (Even if I expect next month to be packed)

I didn't buy any fish, there were cichlids, at least angels and some I didn't recognise.

but I ended up coming home with a bag of blackworms, a couple of bags of plants, a 38g tank, stand, filter heater and light setup and an antique aquarium book for maybe $105 or so in total, so a good night in all, and my MTS is probably stronger than yours :P

I'll see you there next month, right?

I think I could get them in there too but these kuhli loaches are SO active, much more than I expected actually, that the bottom is quite busy ATM. I also like to keep big groups of a few species in my planted tank and there are too many species in there already. Sooo once the extras move on (embers, rummys and mystery fish) I might change my mind. :)

Side note, I found a loach in my filter last cleaning so I need to change it to 8 loaches in my siggy.

You kept an eye out for cichlids for me, thank you that was kind of you. Sounds like a good deal. I am thinking about picking up a 38g myself. I have the double metal stand with a 45 for the top and a 30 for the bottom but the 45 is too tall, it looks like it is going to fall over. lol It is a great tank for a riparium though. :lipssealedsmilie:

I have (well had) my MTS under control for quite some time. But with all these events coming up....how can I not setup more tanks!? Especially when I have them just laying around empty. :) If I had a basement or even a bigger house or a sun room I would have a fish room by now! How many tanks do you have?

Yes I will most likely be there next month. So long as my friends don't want to leave early for our camping trip that weekend.

we have a 37 that's just as tall, so I know what you mean, But in my eyes, ours is disproportionate because of the aquascape, if it filled the tank more I think it wouldn't bother me so much.

but, ummmmm, actually 'wet' tanks, I think around 20, give or take, and there are 6 tubs in the yard.

I have absolutely no idea how many are empty, maybe 3 or 4 in the garage, and a few in the basement. I'll take a full inventory later when I've prepared myself to realize just how bad it is.

Nice! I think once I get established with a club and am brave enough to put my fish up for auction I will be in a similar situation just not to your degree. I would if I could but my space is just too limited, I will have to go with a revolving stock. :)

What do you keep?
