My Betta's name is Dante. Kinda funny..I named him after the volcano in Dante's Peak for no real reason, but he's lived up to it. He's both aggressive and peaceful. Like he doesn't let me add ANY other fish to his tank, and gets really pissed off when I clean it..lol. But then again he's really peaceful that he stays still while I check his fins and body and such, and he's camera-shy.

Lobo is my angel fish (spanish for wolf) Lobo is a cool fish but will eat ANY thing, ive seen it pecking at snail eggs (the jelly blob things) and it eats any duckweed i put in my tank, which i TRIED to grow to cover the top of the water but actually failed because of the ravinous wolf!.
other than that i dont have any fish named although i thought of collectively nameing my neons "the mafia"

Some of my fish have names and some do not. Those that do are my 2 ID Sharks...Sharky&George, Gold Nugget Pleco...Scooter, Tiger Pleco...Hoover, 5 Male Bettas...Ziggy,Gus,Spike,Rosco&Louie, 2 Comets...Merlin&Casper, Oranda...Elliott, Black Moor...Cole, Fantail...Pete and an ADF...Frogger.

My Bettas: Julia, spawned with Leroy (who was Bad, Bad, Leroy cause he was just plain MEAN) and Cal.
Terri, from J & L spawn: ate her siblings till I took her out, hence Terri the Terrorizer.
Other Bettas: Max, Lenny, (of Lenny and Squiggy fame), George, Rainbow, (female), Jackie, Josie, Jen, Ruby, Rose, Vincent, Rex, King, Groundling (he has no swim bladder and stays at the bottom of the tank), Jasper, Jewel, (I feel like I am accepting an award: 'I'd like to thank all my fans, etc.'). If I've forgotten any it's only cause I've got too many to count.
Other fish: Spike is my Rhino Pleco (no, I am not superstitious). He's about 12 years old and ornery, so Spike fits. The other 2 common Plecos are Leo and Sail.
My weather loaches are Hickory, Dickory, Dock, and Bob.
My ghost shrimp are Eenny, Meeny, Miney, Moe, and Bob.

My Kuhlis are Fee, Fie, Foe, Fum, and (take a guess) Bob.
Clown Loaches are Chuckles, Giggles, Bubbles, and Charlie (honest!).
African Butterfly: Gus. He just looked like a Gus.
Sparks is my Flame Gourami, and my dwarf neon rainbows are Tango, Teal, and Tourqe.
Even my snails have names: Simon, Alvin, Theodore, and Dave.
The glass cats are Slim, Tiny, and Fins.
Oh, my cories: Ace, Baby, Cash, Dots, Emmy, Fred, Guy, Happy, Ike, and Jake. (Lots of cories, smiles)
I also have two hermit crabs: Baby (female) and Buddy (male), and 2 cats: eNCee (male, original stray, and we had a cat when he found us, so we called him New Cat, hence eNCee.) and Cally, a tortoiseshell calico (female).
Oh, and two kids, also 1 male and 1 female.

When I got my rasboras I was trying to figure out what sex they were. From the shape and size it seems that I have 1 female and 2 males, or 1 constipated older male and 2 young lithe males.
My coworker thought it was odd that I would care about the gender of a couple fish. I said even if they never breed it would be nice to name them appropriately. He claims that all 3 of them are named Shorty.
