Way overdue update
Hm, this was going to be a small update - but that never happens around these parts!

All of my neons in one pic! Not a very clear pic, but still...
Baby brig!
More babies - their growth seems slower, I think I need to feed them more veggies.

Sneaky pic - turned the light on & caught 'em napping.
Rare pic of Mr. Red flaring - ramshorn snails make him grumpy.
So, I think this means both Mocha & Dax are boys... sorry, Latte!

The 10g is really cool, pretty bushy like how I'd like my 35g to look like.

your tank looks great, very lush! And I love the briggs! Their colors are sooo nice!
Some pages back I saw your snails having some calcium, what is that you're giving them? Is it a tablet or what? I have nerites and MTS I guess I should be giving them something for their shells. I didn't even know about that untill I saw your picture. And by the way you take beautiful pix!

FA: I'm using a Sony Cybershot - it works but I dream about getting a better camera w/more macro options.
BG: I just got plain calcium citrate pills from the drugstore. I put one in my 10g and 2 in my 20H when I feel like it... mostly I focus on feeding veggies like peas, zucchini, and green beans. If I catch myself just feeding them extra flake or algae wafers, I'll add some calcium to help supplement. You may not like the little particles that sometimes fly up (calcium pills are fun to watch dissolve - bubble up and then fall into a white pile)...

My girls know how Latte feels. Both my purples ended up being boys and they have designated girlfriends. Zippy stalks Nimrod, and Jules chases Poe, all day long.

Looks great! i cant believe that sword made it to the top of that 10g! i thought it was a small species
