Black gravel will cause your fish to darken. I don't like it. You just may not even need the Bio-spira.

Does light intensity help with fish vibrancy? I heard that 50/50 lights with a 9000k range (blue i believe) work to bring out fish colors best
ammonia down to .5ppm

well....i went back to my lfs....my wallet is getting lighter
i bought some more plants and some ghost shrimp for cleanup.
i think the ghosts are basically on death row
.....should be fun to watch

i cant remember the name of the new plant. Myo something, or wymo something....i have the memory of a goldfish
