Evan, Bill is correct, Neocaridina denticulata sinensis or Cherry shrimp is what I have for sale currently. Crystal red Shrimp are different. Check out this site (http://www.petshrimp.com/shrimpspecies.html)for more information on the different freshwater shrimp available out there.

Brian, I wouldn't keep cherries with a betta. Though I never tried, I have a feeling that the betta would eat the shrimp. My crystal red shrimp tank is coming along great. I oversold the population a few months back, so things are slowly recovering, and it will be a while till I decide to sell (maybe summer).

The babies are in my net breeder, and the grown ones are in my tank:clap::thm:
Also, what kind of plant came with them? Could I grow those in my tank? I saved them just in case
