Depends on the temp. If your temp is regularily below freezing I don't recommend sending any aquatic animal. (My LFS just had some guppies come in with heatpacks that had ice in the bags recently...).

Shrimp and betta = not a good idea in general. With a very passive betta, lots of hiding spaces, and a shrimp that's big enough that the betta doesn't consider it food it's *possible* at best.

Just wanted to say I ordered a batch from John last month and they're great.

Shame on me for waiting so long. I got some of these shrimp from John several weeks ago. Not one dead one when they arrived. They have been a blessing to my tank. Thanks!

Hi John,

Looks interesting - thought I'd give it a try. hoerver, current fish are yoyo loaches, diamons tetras guppies and a gourami - I'm not sure the loaches are a good match... What do you think?

The yoyos will definately take out the shrimp population give soem time. The other fish may or may not leave the shrimp along as it depends on how much hiding cover is provided to the shrimp. But most likely the little baby cherries will get picked off.
