the package said Natural Gravel. It looks like large particles of sand, I like it and dislike it all at the same time. Im thinking of either switching to black gravel or flourite

Hopefully i will be able to pick up a new light today for my other tank that will allow me to grow plants there also. Plus maybe trade in the silver dollars for some other fish. Once that is done then i can move all the fish/plants from the 10g into the bigger tank and start with changing the gravel, cycling the tank again, moving some of the clippings into the 10g to grow and in the end having 2 planted tanks but one with a full community of fish.

Hmmm today noticed my hydrocotyle for about 30 minutes was releasing a non stop stream of tiny bubbles. Guessing it was oxygen?? Saw tiny on the leafs before but never like this.
