So today decided to do a BIG CUT DOWN MOVE AROUND since the top of the tank was fully covered by hydrocotyle and the long ludwigia.
Heres a week before trimming

The tank for now has not much shape yet since i am just using it as a grow out tank for now. And theres just 2 many plants in that small space so best i can do for now is move them so that they all have access to good light.
The dark gravel idea is on hold for now, im just waiting to get a better light for the other tank so the whole switcharo can begin. For now the gravel is just sitting in a box.
Heres the future gravel

I cant tell but do you have your pennyworth floating?

Is yours taking over your tank like it is to mine? :D

had it floating but it just started to multiply, few new leafs every other day. Thats why i now placed it on the sides in the gravel, though im sure within a few weeks it will reach the top and start multiplying AGAIN lol

right now the top is empty, just has a few small stems of it floating, but not enough to block any light

lol I know what you mean.

it also likes to wrap itself around my filters and get tangled with other plants if I dont trim it fast enough...jeesh in less than 1 wpg too

oooo the tangling part lol I had so much trouble lifting it out of the tank without uprooting any of the ludwigia.
Lol grows so good in that 1wpg for you since its right at the top and receives the 100% of the light, here im at 2.8 and its growing FAST, in less than one month it doubled in size.
