Gauging interest in treated bettas

Count me in, it will be awhile before I have the funds, just got taken our of work for 6 weeks for medical reasons..

It seems like there are currently 1000 people ahead of me, but I would be interested in giving a male betta a home.

Yes, there are many people in this thread, but I'm sure I'll be able to get to all of you :]
I told my parents of the idea. My father actually forbade me to do it unless I made this for-profit. .....I don't understand him. But he wants me to charge like $0.50 per fish. Just so I make SOME sort of profit. I don't know how to explain to him that I don't want to make money off of this. But, since I still live under his roof...

Holy hell. We just got a MASSIVE shipment of bettas in. This could start quickly. I've already set up a small bowl (limited space... and they won't be in there forever, obviously) with moving water and filtration soon to come. There's already a whole load of weed-bit in there (I took out extra and dumped it in a flowerpot outside then forgot to empty the pot...a few weeks later, solid wall of the stuff) and I already fed the bloodworms that had accumulated to the Endler's. They were overjoyed.
So, we may be seeing some profiles soon :D :D

I am so excited to help Squeak's bettas, I have already set up 5 tanks for just this reason. I have also talked to a few of my friends within driving distance of me that would be willing to take a few in. When you check the wall of bettas for sick ones just think of all of us that are awaiting so gracefully those revamped bettas. Not like I wish for them to be sick.

Can't wait!
