They can root. I have to hair grass plant in the tank. They will need root tabs or liquid nutrient. But Im started rooting themselves and having new growth after about a month. Make sure you have enough light though and do your research on the types of plants you are going to get.

Hate to say this, but it sucks. The only way you could improvie it is to just get rid of it - no other choice. Since I have a kind and generous soul, I'll take it off your hands. :raspberry:

Nice tank! Can't wait to see what it looks like with the plants grown in a bit more.

Somebody has jokes! Haha Im hopefully going to pick up some free java moss from a buddy I know in houston Friday. well will see how long it takes to grow to the driftwood and how the cichlids will react to it.
