Goldfish laid eggs - with photos, etc.

very cool!!
can you tell us a little more about the parents?

They're my babies. Check out the photos of them in my sig. I love my little foot-long "feeder" goldfish. :D

Edit: Whoops! I didn't realize you have to register to see the photos. I imagine some of you aren't registered. Here are a couple of them.

Wow, those pictures are really good. How do you get such good shots? What camera are you using?

I thought I'd give you guys an update again.

The little buggers are starting to swim around, though they're not really interested in food yet. I've got Small Fry and First Bites, and I've been feeding them drops of small fry, but they aren't very excited about it.

I bought the Hagen Elite Mini-filter and covered the intake and outlet with felt in an attempt to slow down the flow and protect the fry, since at the low end it's going at 30gph, which is a bit much in a tank holding about a gallon and a half.
Today, when I get a turkey baster, I'm going to transfer the fry to a breeding net and hang that in the tank so that I can do a little housecleaning and protect them from the flow of the filter a little more.

I only counted about 10 today, but I imagine that when I go to move them I'll find more. They're hard to count now as they've started darting around and hiding a little in the plant substrate.

I'll take some photos after I've moved them today.

I think keeping them thius far is good stickied anyway. You've learned a valuable lesson for one that's come so far. It goes to show everyone how quickly things can happen.

Nice job Flare

Keep it up Flare - you know I'm backing you. We'll just wait for the next set.
Hang in there. Sorry for the loss.
