what will i do with my giant snakehead it has fin rot gill flakes and tail rot meth blue and ocean free general aid kit doesnt work..pimafix and melafix are out of stock on our LFS what should i do:worthy:

i do 40% water change twice a week i dunno why what is the problem on my water parameters i think my filtration system is enough i had an under gravel filter and wet dry trickle filter..
You have a snakehead... where do you live(country)? I used to keep them until they were banned in the US in 2003ish. I had a coby, and two blood red's.
I do love my predatory fishes...
i came from philippines..snakeheads arent banned here,piranha are banned in here instead of snakeheads but i also have red bellies in here :drool:
RB's are great if you like scared fishes... I know I do(they are not as scared in larger schools) I wish I could have my snakeheads back! Can you post a picture or two of your SH, please! I really miss mine and alot of folks dont know about them in the US anymore, and how beautifully sleek they are...

here is my snakehead.. 20" Channa Micropeltes but it has tail rot gill flakes and fin rot i dunno why he has that kind of illness..my filtration system is under gravel filter and a wet dry trickle filter i do 30%-40% water change twice a week..my red bellies are on the general topic the thread title is sand vs gravel you can see my rbp's there

How long did you have SH and Is it still eating as well as before? Are you feeding live food? i guess that would be yes as you also keep Pirannah???

yes he's still eating..he can destroy 4-5pcs 3-4" Shubunkin per day on weekends i give him feeder rodents..you cant see the fungi on his body coz' i use phone cam only low quality pic ) on our lfs water parameter test kit is not available they dont have in stock the next lfs has stock is 4-5hrs drive
