HELP! I'm addicted

Welcome to MTS. That means multiple tank syndrome. Those of us in this hobby usually succomb to it. There is no cure except to buy more tanks and more fish. Just enjoy it. That is what the rest of us do. Fighting it doesn't work. Believe me, I tried way back when.

Mine all started with my parents giving me a 55G. Now I have 2 55G's, a 10G, a 5G, and a temporary 1G plus an 18G tote for snails running. In my garage, waiting for various things such as filters, stands and such is 1 55G, and 2 29G's. So I can't offer any advice other to just keep on buying those tanks! Start getting rid of furniture or find a room in the basement that will hold them....AHHHHHHHHH

haha, i read about MTS in AFH. i was cracking up because it was describing me. i have 7 tanks now, and i just got another 20L this weekend. the most amazing part of this all... i still have a gf =/

Possible Curb

When I hit four tanks I realized it was not enough, my condition had grown beyond my own self-control!! What I did find helpful at curbbing my habit was letting my two kids take up some expensive hobbies of there own. Do not know if this option is available to you but if it is give it a try ( if you are really ready for the results)

My son is only 2-no hobbies yet, and his daddy has started feeding my disease by taking me to pet stores and also wanting to buy new things for the tanks :coffee2:

Here is my 12 step plan to help you....

Step 2 your second tank
Step 3 a QT tank
Step 4 a fry tank
Step 5 a spawning tank
Step 6 a livingroom display tank
Step 7 a feeder fish tank
Step 8 a 55 gallon tank
Step 9 a tall 75 gallon
Step 10 a 90 gallon tank

 thats awesome. looks pretty accurate to!!

I started out about a year ago with a small little 2 gallon set up - my fiance' was like let's just start out small and work our way up - well that 2 gallon didn't last long at all i had to go bigger so we ended up getting a 10 gallon tank...... WELL ...... again I was not satisfied so we went to a 30 gallon - which we are still at now and have the other 2 running as well... Maybe within the next few months or so I will get yet another tank ** bigger of course** hehehe

But needless to say Aquarium Addiction has no cure - just enjoy it :)
