Just fed some bloodworms today! It sucked them in like a beast! It's looking great now but the circle on the eye is still there. Maybe it was born with that. It has no problem seeing though.
My parameters are perfect right now. I figured that it was a bit skinny so it looked a bit sick. Once I got it eating bloodworms it's doing much better. However, still no clue whats on the eye and seems like no one knows either.
Yes, it could just have been born like that. You could watch it closely for a few days and if it's doing fine you should keep it, instead of returning.
