and i thought id tell you what i have,as of yet i dont have any problems, my tank is a 28-30 gallon tank which is set at 78-80*, its been set up for a few months now after cycling it for nearly 8 weeks, in it i have 20 neon tetras, 7 male fancy guppies (one of which is a dragon guppy and is beautiful) 2 corys catfishes, and 1 male neon blue dwarf gourami. my water tests come out as 7.5 ph, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 20-30 nitrates, i change 80% water once a week, and add tap water dechlorinator, and filter boost stuff that says it helps keep nitrates down or something,its a water conditioner. i have 1 live plant in there but i dont know what it is, the rest of my plants are fake, but i like it. i run a filter which is supposed to be rated for tanks 4 feet plus, i think its called a fluval 4. it s a great looking bright active tank, oh and it has sand on the bottom so the catfishes whiskers wont be harmed
