How do they eat this rubbish

When I moved to the States I was shocked that people ate frogs legs, pigs ears and feet, and squirrels. I guess it comes down to where you are brought up.
hmmm, never seen anyone eat that. Once at an authentic Vietnamese restuarant, I ordered some pork pho, the waiter was nice enough to tell me that it had pigs feet in it, and suggested something else for me.

When I was a teen on an Air Force Base in Italy we all ate at the Base Snack Bar for lunch (school was so small no cafetorium) and my all time favorite was a bowl of french fries smothered in gravy and ketchup. Mmmm.

Not much into food now, only strange thing is similar to fishy's (no, it's not weird M!!!) ketchup with lots of pepper--especially with extra crispy frenchfries. Hot hot hot. Yer kin keeps yer blud puddin an' haggis an' Mountain Oysters---tried a "huevos del toro" sausage sammich once in Spain (bull's balls), they didn't tell me til I was halfway through, just shrugged and finished it--major munchies :p:

:thm: Here's to all who own up to our strange-ities!

Nothing like a nice Kiszka sandwich in a toasted onion roll w/onion and spicy brown polish mustard.....YUMMY!

Ring Kiszka.....
A Polish favorite made with buckwheat groats, pork livers, and beef blood. Spiced with black pepper, marjoram, and large sweet onions. Stuffed into natural casings then smoked and fully cooked.

In my boring 'need to work' life, i'm a chef! nothing eventuful ever really happens, until about 4 hours ago. Let me explain -

it's 9pm and the final order comes on, 2 people, all very easy one oven roasted salmon and on Pork fillet stuffed with black pudding. I cook it, send it and wait! 2 minutes later the waiter is back,
'can we have some english mustard' yeah no problems there.
Another 2 minutes pass, the waiter returns
'can we have some garlic aioli and some ketchup' ok i thought they had chips/fries so that excuses the tomato sauce. the aioli sort of goes with the salmon, so thats ok. I clean my work area down and the plates return 15 minutes later, the person who had the pork had all three sauces on his meal! i couldn't believe anyone would eat it, never mind enjoy it!

does any one else enjoy combinations such as this?

If they were in France......they would have been shot on the spot.....

I was watching a show on tv about cheese.......(yeah, real interesting  ) anyway....in one of those european countries, don't remember which one.......they eat cheese with maggots...... yeah, living breathing maggots ! They use them to "age" the cheese. The worms crawl around in it eating it and cr**ing it out into a nice gooey gell......which these folks find delicious. Oh, BTW......they chow down into the cheese and eat it...wriggling worms and all !! Yep, just scoop out the middle and everyone has at it with thier own personal spoon !
