It looks like here we probably won't get a direct hit, probably just some wind and t-storms. The generator is ready to go, in any case.

Hopefully it stays out to sea. I am on the North Shore of the Island so we should be ok. Lots of old oaks around here though, so a power loss is almost inevitable.
good luck guys!!.. just glad we in fl havent be bombed again like the 2004 season. i lost 2 tanks worth of fish cuz of no power for 3 weeks threw hurricane Charley.

Depends on where in the state you are...down by the coast some flooding and wind etc is pretty inevitable, but I'm ~1hr inland, so unless the storm takes a pretty extreme NNW path, we should escape the worst of it.

No generator here but I can do water changes which saved my fish in the last power outage. 3 days of 3 30% warm water changes kept everything alive.
