The trouble is that you don't know which of the zoas have them and which don't. How much are you willing to gamble? And you dont' need to wear bulky gloves just powder free thin latex disposable ones. I know when I messed with my first colony without gloves (before I knew better) I ended up with a metallic taste in my mouth for over a day (since learned this happens to a lot without gloves). I didn't have any open wounds on my hands so it didn't enter through those. I obviously didn't die but I'll wear the gloves and not have that funky taste in my mouth again.

ive only touched them once or twice when i didnt know... but im still alive, and im not touching them again...lol

i got then from DF&S WYSIWYG section... and some of them say "warning- this zoo contains..." and i got one of the ones that DIDNT have that warning on it... does that mean these dont have it?:crazy:

What we are trying to say is that there is no way to know without a) lab testing or b) handling them unprotected and see what happens to you =)

i handle mine with out gloves and i have had nothing bad happen to me...

For 3 years I handled my Zoas without gloves with no side affects at all. It's only when I discovered AC I read about the POSSIBLE dangers.
