I just added to my Mudskipper harem. (Pic heavy) :D

Man, you guys are making me work! :D

I'll try to get everyone's questions answered as soon as I can :)

What hams!! They do love to pose for pics, don't they!!
Abosolutely awesome!! I love the progression in pics 7, 8, 9 and 10, of the latest pics you uploaded.

"Excuse me, this is my rock", says the guy on the left.

"Oh yeah? Sez who?", asks the one on the right, as he crawls out of the water.

"Sez me!", says Lefty, and then in his best DiNero voice asks,
"Are you 'flarin' at me?"

"Mine is bigger than yours... now beat it!!" Righty replies, and after Lefty slinks away in embarassment back into the water, Righty sighs, and nods his head like a gansta mud homie, and says,
"That's right... I'm bad... I'm bad."

Too freakin funny!

Ok Mokomon you are really getting me into these! Can I ask where did you order your mangrove seedlings? And is the striplight enough fo them then any other needs? Also I'm new to brackish so can you tell me how much salt you add thanks so much!

I ordered them from "Top Tropicals"
You can read about the Red mangroves here...

So far, the striplight has been fine!

I keep the SG of the skipper tank at 1.010

Anyone TRULY interested in Mudskippers should get the book "Brackish-Water Fishes,an aquarist's guide to identification, care, & husbandry"
Neal Monks, editor

It has 25 pages on Mudskippers, more info than I have ever found elsewhere!

Oh thanks so much for all your help and I'll look for that book. Thank you so much!

I have just got to have skippers. They must really be comfortable with you, even attached to you, to feel free to just crawl up your arm. That must be the most awesome feeling.

((((((Melody))))

Why yes, yes you MUST!

I just came home with 2 more :D
