I need help badly..

That really depends on where your water is coming from. Do you have a well or are you on a public water system? If you have a well you probably wouldn't need the water conditioner at all.

hey tai95! nice to see youre back

i would add water conditioner from the start, even though you are letting it sit.
if your water comes from a well, then you do not ahve to add the conditioner

I'm assuming that if it lives until Sunday we shouldn't mingle it with my dad's fish?

EDIT: We don't know when it happened. Within the last hour. It's been in the bucket for what, three hours now?

I don't think it's dropsy, it may just be from a minor injury. he sounds like hes had a very rough time. please tell us if he starts losing them in great volume.
 
That was my gut instinct. I mean, dude was in the front yard for an hour, I'm sure he's in rough shape.

My kids were keeping count. I went to check myself; it's considerably more than 4 or 5. They're accumulating at the bottom and it seems to be about a half a tablespoon full.

How cold is too cold for this guy? They have him in a bucket in my dining room. It should get to around 35 overnight outside, and I'll keep it around 68 inside. Where is he better off?
