Jay's Planted 180g Tank.

Continues to impress, Jay

wow!! that looks amazing! yeah once that carpet grows in, it'll be perf

Thank you!:thm:

I added a couple of more plant species to the tank but I'll have to look up the spelling of there names ;) pronouncing is a whole other problem...LOL Now with the the nicer weather I hoping to and some interesting Bucephalandra like brownie ghost but we'll see.

The Bucephalandra sekadau has but up 1 leaf in 3 weeks LOL, brownie purple and brownie ghost are in the mail hopefully will have them this week. I did Limnophila aromatica although I can't say I really care for this plant I pick up the plants in a meeting but I maybe passing these on and got a few more stems of Proserpinaca palustris also picked up at the meeting.

Okay I know a few people have been following the progression of the tank and at minimum skim through the pics so here we go.

My brain is fried and just couldn't make choices on pics so I'm posting all of them I did thirds, halves, and FTS. I was to lazy to switch out my lens and the camera battery was dying so it's just one of those nights.

Thirds
Right - I'm pleased with the right it definitely the best combination in tank of color and various leaf forms, although there's 3 hygrophila in that corner all are different.

Middle - Ludwigia gandulosa is growing like mad and a bit to messy but I'll let it go for now.

FTS - couldn't decide on one over the other so added both.

I absolutely love this tank!! Are you going to add anything more to the center foreground or are you going to leave it open the way it is currently??

Thank you!!! Well the C. parva is taking it's sweat time filling in...LOL I think the C. parva is just getting to much light becuase it's growing flat to the substrate. I'm trying to be patient but it bugs me when I notice, the price of a low maintenance foreground at least when it finally grows in... =) The B. aubertii is coming up from roots that must of been left over or went dormant and disappeared when my Co2 tank was empty for a few months so it's a nice surprise but it's right smack in the middle of everything. It's all kind of leaning itself to a Dutch style tank so if I stumble across species I can pop in I may just go with it.

Very nice jay! That is definitely something to be proud of. I enjoy this tank very much, nice work.
