Good show with the floaters, they help. The 12 inch height of 20g longs is more scary to me than the 16 & 20 inch tanks I kept most of my sids. I know, I know, what's a few inches... Good luck, they'll be awesome in that pretty tank!

Nice things about live plants, they're a good source of bacteria. A week in and nitrite already seems to be spiking!
Going to do some maintenance later today and will post some pics then. Not much has changed, still waiting for the cycle to finish.
Some new pics. Cycle seems to be very close but its hard to tell. The driftwood is sinking too! But still a little buoyant so it doesn't quite sit the way I want yet.
Also rethinking P. furcatus given they supposedly only live about 2 years. But they're so pretty...
