She told my uncle and me at the end of last month which is within the law in my area. I have rented this place with my uncle who spends 99% of his time in jersey so i live there alone for the most part. And its in his name she sent him an official notice in the mail the next week. My uncle keeps telling her im closing on a house and he is finalizing the move to jersey and we need just one more month. She wouldnt listen to us though and she wants us out. She is doing this because her son's friend got into some financal trouble and lost his house(gambled it all away). Now mommy is coming to the rescue of her son and giving him our house to rent out. She keeps trying to blame it on i have more people living there but i keep telling er to come look at it but she wouldnt. Im sorry i have friends who like to drink and because i refuse to let them drive. But thats no reason to try to throw me out.

you should find out if you can just set your tanks up at the new house, not actually move in. When I sold my last house, I let the guy move in a week before settlement, he just had to sign a release drawn up.

yea i asked about that and the guy selling was cool with it. then my realtor agent butted in and told him there are all sorts of problems and now the best i got is if i want i can set up in the garage. I might just have to do that temp.
That is better than just not having them set up at all. If you were closer, I would let you set them up at my house for the interim.
well cat, if you lived even a little closer, i could help ya out, lmao, but the three hour drive for two weeks seems a little nutty! I am here though if ya need me, since all of my tanks are down, theres plenty of room for some to hang for a few weeks..~
thanks gals i appriciate the offers and yea it is better than nothing to set up in the garage but i have to rent a generator for a week or run a few extension cords s there is power to it. he said hed let me run cords and i could just pay him for the power bill which i have thought about doing. Im just concered because i wouldnt be able to keep an eye on them like i like to do.

Man i am just sooo glad i was already looking at houses and in the process or i would have been atleast another whole month out. I guess this was someones way to tell me that i need to pick this house im getting.
Hmmm, well that stinks! This may not be the best way to go about it...but I've known ppl who wasn't out by the deadline, they ended up with another notice of like 10 days or something like that, one had to go to court about it and just told the Judge they were having a hard time finding a place and he gave an extension, I don't know all the details to it and I know laws are different in every state...but you could call the housing authorities and find out if you have ANY legal stance to stay there 2 more weeks???
