Keeping Robin's off cars?? A Poo Situation...

Then you will have a hawk or falcon problem! How would you get rid of those? Red tail hawk sammich?

Lol. Well. You most certainly can't shoot a red tailed hawk. Federal offense. We had a family of red tails making a buffet out of my Banty hens one year. They were in a covered pen and the hawks would pull them through chicken wire and eat them. We opted to re-home the hens instead of risking jail.

As for the robins. I found where they had started to build another nest in the shed and pulled it out two days in a row. I think between that and the scarecrow we made, the message may be getting across. They are still pooping on the cars but not as frequently and in such large volume. Cross your fingers this is working.

NOTE: I said they were "starting" a nest. It was NOT completed and there were no eggs destroyed.

Fire crackers will get rid of them if you have a problem with killing them.

Not sure why this had to go 6 pages.. It isnt rocket science getting rid of birds.

I don't know why but this made me literally LOL. Yes, I think firecrackers may just work. And uh.... Where were you 6 pages and one fractured wrist ago.

I was right here telling you to kill them with a pellet gun. :)

Bottle Rockets would be more fun. hehe

Be careful, you will probably get someone saying how mean and unethical it is.. YAWN

Like your robins I had ant problems for a while. I tossed them a few uncles and that was the end of it.
When I have an ant problem I kill them with fire. Just because it is fun.

Fire crackers are a good option. They are illegal here in il, or at least hard to get on to. But we have canadian geese on the pond behind our house. And people hate them. One of my neighbors has a bunch of fire crackers and lights one off once in a while to scare them away. Normally I stop him when the baby geese start popping up. Normally opening my door and letting my dog out is enough to scare them away from our yard. My dog isnt threatening at all. He wants to be friends with them, but they run and he gets sad.

Set out a skillet near their nests and toss a few robin eggs in it Maybe they will get the hint. Since robins are mainly ground feeders an open nesters try to find their nests. Remove nets an bye bye birdie
:grinyes:

a mongoose of course!!!!!
And for the mongoose problem?? LOL, this is turning into "there was an old woman who swallowed a fly" except it's "there was a AC member who had to many robins".....
