Hello.
I bought a pair of Kribensis. 4 weeks, the female was chased around non-stop. Went back to buy another female, a lot smaller. Well in 2 days, she was dancing in front of him and the male allowed her to swim around.
So I removed the original female and since they do swim together and that she really dances like crazy at any chance, I assume that nesting is imminent, the male has started to fend off the Harlequins. But the thing is, there is a lot of dancing and very little action going on...
As soon as she is moving him closer to the coconut shell, one of the two looks at something and says "Is that food?" and goes to eat it.
Now as much as it is entertaining, the dancing seems to be quite energy consuming... How long is it supposed to last? Are they just inexperienced?
