I hope all your fish are doing well with the new full dose. So far so good? Sometimes "sensitive" fish just need a low dose or 2 to be ok with a real dose. So much of what we believed 20-40 years ago isn't necessarily true any more. Many if not most fish were wild caught, starved, & shipped to who knows with what kind of water? compared to where they came from. Now many of our fish are farm or hobby bred, with different issues...

I think you're fine. So are you saying no spots since Mon.? Wed.? I'm not sure when the clock starts with the death of the PGs...I'd tend toward an extra tx just to be sure. Don't forget to vacuum during WCs. Fingers crossed!

I figured my count started over at my last death :/ that was yesterday. But I don’t have any fish with visible symptoms. So I wasn’t exactly sure, My plan was 7 days of dosingParaGuard after last symptom. But I am not sure how that works when the host fish dies vs the ick just continuing its life cycle and proceeding with med for x amount of days

Fish that are alive seem to be doing well, But I am a nervous wreck about it.
tomorrow is water change day and I will make sure to vacuum better than I had.
I am new to sand and I am still getting the hang of it vs with heavier gravel.

On sand I just kind of swirl the vac close to the surface without going very deep. It depends on the sand size. Any will help with ich removal, do the best you can.

So is Paraguard an every other day tx? I haven't used it.

I hear you on the nervous wreck thing. It's not as bad as it used to be for me but still I want to be doing something or studying the fish, looking really hard. I don't think they appreciate that much, lol.

Aggghhhhh! What is this spot?? It’s not small like an ick spot. And he was better ( this is the area I initially seen the ick on him though. )
