New Aquarium Store in Chicagoland area
They just opened up a new Aquarium Adventure in Bolingbrook, IL. Grand opening was 12/15/07. Large selection of hard to find fish. They tend to be on the pricer side, but do have some good sales. Best part is they are less than a mile from my house.

This shop isn't the cleanest looking and mostly specializes in cichlids. He has some beautiful full grown Cichlids. Frontosa's, Flowerhorns etc. He has great prices and knowledge of anything to do with aquarium fish salt or fresh. If he doesn't have it he can usually order it and his prices are cheaper than anyone else in town. I have never seen a sick fish in his shop he uses individual filtration to avoid the kind of community water that you get at the big box stores. I would suggest his shop to anyone in Fresno.

great little LFS with an amazingly diverse selection for it's size. easiliy the best LFS in alaska. knowlegeable staff, never sell fish to people who can't take care of them.(P.S. great thread idea, neddeles!
i second this as i too was going to post the reef as a good lfs...
I have to agree fintastic has been great for me. The selection is really good and the staff are very friendly and know a lot about the fish. Also, it was not difficult to find someone to assist me. Big store - lots of space.
The prices are a little bit more but I think its because of the high quality of fish!!
