All of the employees and even the owner will drop what they are doing to help you. They do free water testing, and they will pack your tanks with air if your moving Large selection of fish, both freshwater and saltwater. They have several reef tanks set up around the store that are beautiful and spotless.

Another good San Francisco LFS is called Lucky Ocean Aquarium. The manager Steve is amazing. He knows I am just a broke college student with a huge fish obsession that I struggle to pay for. He never tries to sell you something you can't afford and gives some really nice discounts. Also he has a really nice healthy cichlid selection he has F1 fontosas and some other really nice fish and plants, super affordable. I would definitely check this place out if you're in the SF area.
