Golds Aquariums Calgary. Forest Lawn http://www.cichlids.ca/freshwater.php Great store. Very small, yet absolutely stuffed with tanks full of Discus, Shovelnose Catfish, Stingrays, and Arrowanas. AAA Flower Horn show cichlids are in the back of the store. Owned and run by a nice Asian man and his wife. Great people.

Mind blowing how many tanks were in this place when you look at it from the outside, Very knowledgeable staff and the place is known to have people coming from Rochester to get fish. Large varieties of fish SW and FW and very friendly too, gave me some free food and good advise. The guy i talked to seemed so into fish and was more then willing to help

Anytime i go in they are vacuuming the gravel or cleaning the tank, Very Large variety of FW and a decent size in SW. Very friendly and willing to help out with advise if you talk to the right person! none are in any way critical or judgmental! Where i get my fish from, and always willing to order fish for you if they have the right resources!

Cool little shop that has a little bit of everything (reptiles, birds, exotics, small animals, birds, and of course FISH). They mainly stock saltwater fish, but have a nice wall of freshwater. They will special order for you readily, and the prices are nice.

I have some very sad news. Scales in Clovery, MD has gone out of business.

unsure of hours but guess 9-5 all week

Top notch service with a very knowledgeable staff. The "old man" who owns the place (only old as there are a few younger folks in their 20's and 30's working there) knows fish inside and out. Also will answer questions about the lizards and snakes they have there.

I have gotten fish from chain stores and they always die. The fish from here have always lived.

The prices are going to be a bit higher than the chain stores but Edgewood has the quality to match it.

Great shop that I've been going to since I was a little kid. Have a wide selection of freshwater fish as well as marine- everyone around here seems to cater to reefers. Fair prices, espically on schooling fish where its #/price and the number is the lowest recommended number and always at a significant discount. One of the best selections of plants around, though even here it's a bit sparse.

Very nice shop with a wide variety of fish, massive selection of corals, knowledgeable staff however they are definatly priced for their area. Deerfield is a very upscale town, so the prices reflect this (saw a 79.99 price tag on a 20 tall today) and a flame angel for almost double what I have seen elsewhere. Had a nice selection of small coral frags for 12 bucks and 22 bucks based on their size.
